How does virtual coaching work? Will it be effective?
You control your own schedule. Virtual coaching has proved successful because you can do everything from your own home at anytime that works for you. Even if you are away on vacation, you can still be coached with 100% effectiveness. Keep in mind, you’ll received personalized nutrition and fitness tips on a weekly basis - depending on the package you select.
How is my program delivered to me?
Your program will be personally designed to meet YOUR needs. Every client will have a 30-minute, live video check in with me each week where we’ll go over your progress and what you’ll be doing the following week. You’ll have access to your program through an app and be able to view videos of each exercise. Also, feel free to message me at any time and I’ll respond within 24 hours.
Is this coaching system really all done online?
Yes; all programs can be done at your own leisure and convenience via the app shared by me no matter where you are! Again, we will meet weekly for 30 minutes to go over your progress and any questions you have.
Is this for me?
Absolutely! As long as you are ready to put in the work. You’ll gain the right mindset and tools needed to make heathier choices and prioritize yourself for the long term.
What makes your virtual coaching different from other programs?
I don’t buy into the whole “one-size-fits-all” approach. Meaning, the programs I create for you are YOUR programs and based on your needs and wants. We’ll do some fitness assessments before we even get started so we know your fitness level and can build from there. We’ll redo these tests on occasion so you can see your progress.
As a certified personal trainer, virtual fitness coach, and group fitness instructor, my mission is help busy women (most of them parents, like me) learn to prioritize themselves, gain confidence and feel good and strong. My approach is fully customized as I aim to understand your needs, challenges, and concerns.
With a lifetime of experience exercising on my own and helping others out along the way, I have the skills and abilities to create a training program for you. But that’s the easy part. You need to be ready to go the distance and give it all you got - the results will be worth it and I’ll be by your side the whole time!
No matter what fitness level you’re at, with an open and positive mindset, you’ll be amazed at what your body can do.
How soon can I expect results?
MANY things can directly affect the results you see. So honestly speaking, I can't tell you exactly HOW YOUR BODY works or how it will respond until we’ve worked together for the first three months.
If there are no underlying health issues, and you fully follow your customized program, you can expect to see results. Will these results reveal themselves on a scale? Maybe - that depends on your goals. Sometimes results will be more lean muscle, inches lost around the mid-section, clothes fitting better / differently and increased energy levels. Again, every body is different. A change in your fitness routine is a journey. There is no final destination. My goal and hope is that you fall in love with this journey and what we do together sticks for the long term.
Your program is custom tailored for YOU based on your starting point, health history, exercise history, fitness level, availability, and lifestyle. The wonderful thing about a customized program is that if you hit a wall, we’ll address it right away.
I'm a beginner. Can I workout at homE?
Yes. I can build a program around any workout equipment you have at home and make some recommendations if you’re looking to build up your home gym. Have no equipment at all? I got you, and we can do a program based on body weight - trust me! If you do belong to a gym, you’ll have your program at your fingertips through the app.
That said, if one of your goals is weight loss, resistance training (training with weights) is very beneficial to getting extra weight off.
Who is this for and who are your typical clients?
This is for women who want to feel stronger, more confident, and learn to prioritize themselves. And, yes, achieving fat / weight loss, going down a few dress sizes, shedding some inches, and increasing energy levels are typical outcomes as well.
I have some injuries and special needs, is it OK to still participate?
I’m not a medical professional and a fitness plan is not intended to cure any illnesses or diseases. That said, it really depends on the injury or special need. In early assessments, we’ll cover medical and health history to see if we need a doctor’s clearance before moving ahead. I will do my very best to work around any injuries.
I do not advise - under any circumstances - for you to work through pain. Always let me know when you need any kind of program adjustments.
How can I contact you if I need support?
You may send an email / message through the training app. I will respond to emails (within 24 hours) between 9-5 p.m. ET Monday to Friday.
How many clients do you have?
For virtual coaching, I keep my client list small (a max of 20 clients) and only accept those who are truly dedicated to their fitness goals. This is the maximum number that allows me to help as many as I can so I can give them the individualized attention, support, and accountability they need.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
I’m excited that you’re considering working with me. Please keep in mind that I dedicate myself to only working with serious clients.
Before taking on a new client, we’ll have a 30-minute chat, which serves as an opportunity for us both to decide if we wish to move forward together. Those who follow at least 90% of the program 90% of the time, will see results. So if you FULLY participate in the program for at least three months and see no improvements in your lifestyle, strength, muscle tone, confidence, then you will receive a full refund.
What if I’m on vacation or something comes up and I need to miss our weekly touch point?
To respect both our time, I ask for a 24-hour advance notice if you need to miss a weekly check-in. We can reschedule for a time that is convenient for you. If you need to cancel your check-in within a 24-hour window, please let me know as soon as possible. While I’ll do my best to reschedule, understand that your check-in may be missed for that week.
If you are out for more than a week, we can work ahead to ensure you have what you need so you’re set up for success and don’t miss a beat!
When is payment due each month and what if I miss a payment?
There is a three-month minimum initial payment for the program. I also offer 6- and 12-month packages, which will save you a bit of money in the long term. A three-month minimum is required because the body is an efficient machine and can take a while to recalibrate and change based on new habits.
Once I receive that initial three-month payment, we are good to get started. In the beginning of month three, we’ll chat through next steps for continuing in your program. At that point, payments will become monthly (must be received by the 5th of each month). A missed payment will result in a 10% late fee through the 10th of the month. If payment is not received by the 10th, I will assume you’re not interested in continuing in the program. I do ask for a month’s notice if you do decide to not continue in a program.
